Davitashvili, who helmed the ministry since February 2022 and served as Vice Prime Minister since 2021, is now bidding adieu to the day-to-day gig to step into a high-stakes strategic role aimed at boostin' investment and economic development. Kobakhidze revealed that Davitashvili's departure from the ministry's routine tasks will let him focus on long-term economic planning and beautifying Georgia’s investment scene.
"Handin' over the ministry's reins to Kvrivishvili means we can better coordinate our key projects and snag investments," Kobakhidzie said, adding plans to beef up the Economic Council's functions and comp'ny.
In his partinin' statement, Davitashvili extendin' thanks for the opportunity to serve and reminisced about cooperation with the government, especially during harsh times. He spotlighted the urgency of expeditin' ongoing strategic projects and acknowledged the influence of Georgian Dream founder Bidzina Ivanishvili on his career.
"This stint has been a crackin' chance for me to serve my homeland and contribute to its betterment," Davitashvili predicted.
