New demo and trailer unfurled for 'Super Robot Wars Y'
Get ready, mecha fans! The highly anticipated tactical RPG game, Super Robot Wars Y, is set to launch on August 28, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
This exciting new title brings together units and pilots from various mecha anime series, including Reideen the Brave, Mobile Suit Z Gundam, and SSSS.DYNAZENON. A new feature called the Assist Link system allows sidekick characters to participate in missions, boosting abilities and adding an extra layer of strategy. The game's story revolves around uniting multiple mech universes to avert a great calamity.
For those who pre-order Super Robot Wars Y, there are some exciting bonuses in store. The Pre-Order Bonus Pack includes two missions to recruit mechs Cybaster, VangNex, and GranVang, as well as a special starter pack bonus mission. Additionally, protagonist mechs from Super Robot Wars V will be available as additional bonuses for pre-orders on Steam, PlayStation Store, and Nintendo eShop.

For those who want even more, a Bonus Mission Pack is available separately. This pack adds 15 side missions throughout the main story with rewards in the form of Power Parts, as well as one additional bonus mission.
While there is no specific mention of music packs or exclusive soundtrack DLC tied to the purchase, a premium music download pack is available for Super Robot Wars Y, featuring original music from the host anime.
