Football Regionalliga Nordost: Zimmermann's Exit - Halle Kicks Off New Season Under Fresh leadership, Possibly with a Familiar Face on the Sidelines
Halle Switches Coaches: New Appointment for the New Season Following Žimmermann's Departure - New coach takes over for Hall as they kick off the new season
The long-standing third-division football club, Hallescher FC, is set to embark on the upcoming Regionalliga season with a new tactician at the helm. After a comprehensive review of the previous season's performance, the club has decided to part ways with Mark Zimmermann in his head coach position.
The official statement read, "Following comprehensive performance evaluations between the sports director and head coach, along with intensive discussions with the board, Hallescher FC has chosen to make a change in the head coach role for the upcoming season."
Despite the change, Hallescher FC may be considering a different position for Zimmermann within the club. According to the statement, negotiations will soon commence with Zimmermann regarding a new position that aligns with his skill set.
With Jens Kiefer vacating his position as youth coach after three years, a role for Zimmermann as a youth coach seems plausible.
Meanwhile, Sascha Prüfer, initially recruited as a co-trainer from FC Eilenburg, is expected to take control of the first team, should the negotiations with Zimmermann prove unsuccessful.
