New Cadastral Office Lead Appears
Michael Fielenbach has taken over as the new head of the Surveying and Cadastre Office of Rhein-Kreis Neuss, effective from 2021. Fielenbach, born in Marienheide in the Oberbergisches in 1959, comes with a wealth of experience in the field, having worked for the city of Dormagen as the head of the city development, surveying, and land management office.
Before his appointment, Fielenbach studied geodesy at the University of Bonn after graduating from high school in Wipperfürth. He has also served as the deputy chairman of the valuation committee of the Rhein-Kreis Neuss (excluding the city of Neuss) and served as a valuer in various other committees.
Armin von Hagen, the previous head, is retiring on November 1, 2022. Von Hagen started his career in 1972 as an apprentice with the then Kreis Grevenbroich. In 2008, he joined the Kreisverwaltung as the head of the Surveying and Cadastre Office and took over the product group leadership for 'Surveying Office and Geodata Management'.
