New arrival in India: Ducati's 2025 Multistrada V4 and V4 S, showcasing advanced technology and fresh design
New Ducati Multistrada V4: Italian Flair Meets Long-Distance Ability
Ducati has unveiled its latest offering, the Multistrada V4, a bike designed to appeal to riders seeking the perfect blend of Italian style and long-distance capability.
The heart of the Multistrada V4 is a Euro 5+ compliant 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, producing 170 hp and 123.8 Nm of torque. This powerful engine is accompanied by engine deactivation technology that improves efficiency by up to 6 per cent under certain conditions.
The new Multistrada features a redesigned nose inspired by Ducati's Panigale superbikes, making it instantly recognizable. The changes are noticeable for returning customers, with a more aggressive headlight treatment and a sleeker silencer. The new design aims to make the machine look purposeful while addressing pillion comfort.
The Multistrada V4's aluminium monocoque frame is carried over, but suspension tweaks and a higher anti-squat effect should translate to more precision, especially when fully loaded. The bike now provides more legroom for the pillion due to repositioned luggage mounts.
The Multistrada V4 is available in Ducati Red, with new color options also available. The Ducati V4 S variant, featuring spoked wheels and dual-tone paint, is priced at ₹30.18 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new Multistrada is equipped with the latest technology, including Radar-assisted tech, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and Forward Collision Warning. It also includes an Automatic Lowering Device, lowering the bike by up to 30 mm at low speeds, and a 6.5-inch TFT display with more intuitive controls.
The Multistrada V4 offers five riding modes, including an updated Enduro setting and a new Wet mode. Maintenance remains on the lenient side, with valve checks at 60,000 km.
Positioned in the luxury adventure-touring segment, the Multistrada V4 has a starting price of ₹22.98 lakh (ex-showroom). With its combination of style, performance, and technology, the Multistrada V4 is set to redefine the adventure-touring segment.
