New Apple-produced survival thriller's debut trailer propels it to be one of my top autumn release movie picks
Get ready for an edge-of-your-seat experience as the highly anticipated movie "The Lost Bus" is set to stream on Apple TV Plus on October 3. Directed by Paul Greengrass, known for his intense films, this movie promises to deliver a thrilling ride through a wildfire.
The film, based on the novel "Paradise: One Town's Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire" by Lizzie Johnson, is set during the 2018 Camp Fire, the deadliest wildfire in California's history. The plot revolves around a bus driver, played by Matthew McConaughey, who must navigate a bus carrying children and their teacher to safety amidst the raging wildfire.
McConaughey's character, Kevin McKay, is not just a bus driver; he is a father trying to find his son.
