Montreal Reggae Artist Neto Yuth Announces New Project
We are sad to report that General Director of Publications BLD, Isabelle Vaillancourt, has passed away on Sunday. Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this difficult time.
Moving on to a brighter note, Montreal-born reggae artist Neto Yuth is set to release his most convincing project to date. The launch concert for his new project will take place on August 28 at District Saint-Joseph in Quebec City, followed by a performance at Bar le Ritz PDB in Montreal the next day.
Neto Yuth's new project features collaborations with notable artists such as Turbulence, Anthony B, Exco Levi, and Quebecois composers, though the exact name of this project remains undisclosed.
The reggae singer-songwriter, who has been deeply connected to reggae music since his early teens, is recognised within the Canadian reggae scene. He was nominated for multiple categories at the 2025 Canadian Reggae North Music Awards, underscoring his growing prominence.
Neto Yuth discusses the roots of reggae music and its cultural essence, pointing to his authentic approach toward the genre. A track titled "Place A Rock" was released in late July 2025, but it's unclear if this is linked to the collaborative project in question.
In other news, Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch. The thunderstorm watch could produce wind gusts and heavy rain.
Stay tuned for more updates on Neto Yuth's new project and other news in the world of reggae music.
Neto Yuth's forthcoming project, yet to be named, will feature collaborations with Turbulence, Anthony B, Exco Levi, and Quebecois composers, merging various aspects of music and entertainment within the reggae culture.
