Netflix's "Untamed" - Composition of Actors and Location of Filming Revealed
In the latest offering from Netflix, the limited series "Untamed" promises a gripping story set against the rugged backdrop of Yosemite National Park. The series, which was released on Thursday, follows the investigation of a woman's death in lawless terrain by a federal agent, played by Eric Bana as Kyle Turner.

However, it is Lily Santiago's portrayal of Naya Vasquez that steals the spotlight. Santiago, 29, plays a single mother and former LAPD officer who has transitioned to become a park ranger in Yosemite.
Naya's character arc is significant as she navigates the challenges of adapting to a new environment and learning to work in the wilderness, having previously been accustomed to urban policing. Creator Elle Smith revealed that most cast members saw bears during filming, but Bana had "bad bear luck." Despite expressing a desire to have an encounter with a bear during filming, Bana did not see one. The series' description on Netflix's website mentions that nature in Yosemite obeys no rules but its own.
