Anticipation for the third season of the acclaimed tour documentary intensifies; however, it's announced as the finale of the series, set to air in a month.

"Netflix's Tour de France: Unchained described as a chaos-filled spectacle, set for its concluding season"

Hop on your bike and gear up for the final ride! Netflix's Tour de France: Unchained is back for its last hurrah on July 2nd, and boy, does it look thrilling! Check out the official trailer that dropped this week.

This final season will take us through the exciting races of the 2023 Tour de France, where we witnessed the unstoppable force that is Tadej Pogacar conquering six stages en route to a grand overall victory. Expect approximately eight episodes, similar to the first two seasons. The series delves into the heart and soul of the world's most prestigious bike race, featuring the overall narrative, key teams, passionate moments, and unforgettable riders.

The trailer teases the emergence of the new super-teams, such as UAE Team Emirates-XRG and Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe. Pogacar is shown in action, with his teammate Mikkel Bjerg playfully commenting, "Everything the light touches is Tadej's kingdom." Cycling legend Mark Cavendish, embarking on his final Tour journey, is also featured, alongside Jonas Vinegaard's Visma-Lease a Bike, although their Screen Time might be limited.

Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, on the other hand, seem frustrated, with sports director Rolf Adag questioning, "Why do we lose our shit on the first day?"

Compared to the first two seasons, the teams have grown, with UAE Team Emirates-XRG and Cavendish joining the fray, along with his then-team, Astana-Qazaqstan.

Although the series has garnered a strong fan following and brought cycling to a broader audience, unfortunately, Netflix France has decided against renewing it for a fourth season. Meaning, no more Netflix cameras at the race this year. In a statement shared with our website in February, a Netflix representative said, "After three seasons, we are naturally coming to an end of this cycle."

Despite concerns regarding viewing figures in France, which allegedly were lower than expected[2], the series managed to appeal to audiences worldwide. Produced as a joint venture between Quadbox and Box to Box Films, the creators of F1: Drive to Survive, the documentary offers a fascinating glimpse into this legendary competition.

During the 2023 Tour de France, the unstoppable force, Tadej Pogacar, conquered six stages and claimed a grand overall victory. Sports enthusiasts should tune into the return of Netflix's Tour de France: Unchained, showcasing the world's most prestigious bike race and the emergence of new super-teams like UAE Team Emirates-XRG and Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe.
