Netflix's live-action adaptation of the iconic manga, One Piece, is set to continue its epic journey with the release of the second season, titled "Into the Grand Line," in 2026. The series, which follows Luffy and the Straw Hat crew as they embark on a perilous quest to find the legendary treasure "One Piece," will delve deeper into the Grand Line—a legendary and dangerous sea filled with bizarre islands, perilous quests, and fiercer adversaries.

The second season promises higher stakes and new adventures as the Straw Hats face fierce foes and explore strange, adventurous islands. Key moments from the Arabasta Saga, such as the Reverse Mountain and the whale Laboon, will also be featured.

In the trailer for the second season, new characters like Captain Smoker, Robin, Brogy, Miss Wednesday, and Miss All Sunday make their appearance. However, Chopper did not appear in the trailer but received a character teaser during Netflix's most recent Tudum event.

The third season of One Piece: Into the Grand Line has already been confirmed, with production set to start later this year in Cape Town, South Africa. Ian Stokes joins co-showrunner Joe Tracz, indicating a continuation of the story beyond the Grand Line journey introduced in Season 2, though specific plot details remain unrevealed.

The first season's success has evidently paved the way for this continued quest, with Netflix demonstrating a strong commitment to adapting Eiichiro Oda’s manga faithfully while expanding the live-action series across multiple seasons.

The second season will see Luffy and the Straw Hats journeying through the Grand Line, a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. The official description for the second season states that it will feature "fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests yet."

Inaki Godoy (Luffy), Mackenyu (Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero (Usopp), and Taz Skylar (Sanji) are all returning for the second and third seasons, ensuring a consistent and engaging narrative.

Netflix unveiled the first look at the second season of One Piece: Into the Grand Line, promising an exciting continuation of this beloved manga's live-action adaptation. The official release date for the second season remains unknown, but fans are eagerly anticipating its premiere on Netflix in 2026.
