Netflix Launches Gaming Feature on Smartphones

Netflix has introduced a new gaming feature, allowing users to play epic games directly through their service. The feature is available on smartphones, with the device acting as a controller. This comes as a significant addition to the platform, given the popularity of crazy games worldwide.

According to a recent survey by VCIOM, 41% of Russians aged 18 and above enjoy playing video games. The most active gamers are young adults aged 18-24, with 67% of them engaging in gaming. Men are more likely to play than women, with 50% of men playing compared to 35% of women. The preferred gaming devices in Russia are computers (77%) and smartphones (61%).

Netflix's entry into the gaming world is an exciting development for users who enjoy interactive content. While the feature is currently limited to smartphones, it's expected to expand to more devices and countries in the future. The popularity of crazy games in Russia, with a significant portion of the population playing daily, suggests a potential market for Netflix's gaming feature, should the service return to the country.
