Netflix collaboration persists for Harry and Meghan

Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have extended their partnership with Netflix, following their successful first deal signed in 2020. This multi-year "first-look" deal with Archewell Productions will cover film, TV projects, and their lifestyle brand, As Ever.

The collaboration has already resulted in several popular productions. The docuseries Harry & Meghan, which tells their love story and the decision to step back from royal duties, has become Netflix's most popular docuseries to date. Another notable project is Heart of Invictus, a documentary following competitors training for the Invictus Games, founded by Prince Harry.

Additionally, Live to Lead is a docuseries that highlights impactful global leaders such as Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Greta Thunberg, and Jacinda Ardern. A sports documentary series, Polo, is in development, while a number of unscripted shows and scripted projects, including a movie and a scripted TV series, are reportedly in early development.

Netflix's head of content, Bela Bajaria, has praised Harry and Meghan as influential voices. She stated, "Harry and Meghan have inspired millions across the globe with their strong commitment to charitable causes and their desire to give a voice to the voiceless."

In line with their commitment to charitable causes, Archewell Productions is also working on a documentary about orphaned children in Uganda, set to release on Netflix later this year.

The Sussexes' cooking and baking show, With Love, Meghan, has been a hit, with the second season set to air this month. The holiday special of the show is planned for December. Furthermore, a holiday special for the first season is also in the works.

Meghan and Harry, who have been living in the US for five years, have two children: Prince Archie (5) and Princess Lilibet (3). Relations between Meghan, Harry, and the royals remain strained following various allegations. However, Meghan has expressed pride in continuing their partnership with Netflix.

The brand As Ever, associated with Meghan's sale of jam and luxury food items like wine, is part of this Netflix collaboration. This extension of their partnership promises an exciting future of impactful and entertaining content from the Sussexes.
