Nepal Police Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Exam Rescheduled

The written exams for the posts of Inspector of Police and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Police, originally scheduled for 2077-07-27, have been re-scheduled. The new rescheduled date, however, remains unavailable in the current search results.

The examination program will not be postponed without prior notice from the Commission, ensuring that candidates are kept informed. The decision date for the re-scheduled exams is still 2077-07-27.

For the Inspector post, the written exam consists of four papers, with the first paper being held on 2077 Mangsir 28, the second on 2077 Mangsir 29, the third on 2077 Mangsir 30, and the fourth on 2077 Mangsir 30. The professional aptitude test for the Inspector post will consist of two sections, with a break of 10 minutes between them.

The ASI exam, on the other hand, consists of four papers, with the first paper being held on 2077 Mangsir 18, the second on 2077 Mangsir 19, the third on 2077 Mangsir 20, and the fourth on 2077 Mangsir 20.

The exam centers for both the Inspector and ASI exams will be prescribed by the PSC (Lok Sewa Aayog). The exam centers for the ASI exam will be at various PSC offices, including but not limited to, Dhankuta, Jaleshwar, Hetauda, Kathmandu, Pokhara, Dang, Surkhet, and Dipayal. The exam centers for the Inspector exam have not been specified yet.

Candidates are required to arrive at the examination center one hour and thirty minutes before the scheduled time. They must wear a mask, bring sanitizer, and drinking water. Candidates should also maintain a distance of 2 meters and follow instructions given by the manpower deployed in the examination to ensure safety during Covid-19 infection.

Candidates are not allowed to write any sign or sign to reveal their identity except in the place mentioned in the answer sheet. Only answers written in English capital letters A, B, C, D will be recognized for objective multiple answer questions. No bags, mobile phones, or electronic devices are allowed in the examination building. Along with the admission card, an identity card with one’s citizenship or photo issued by the Government of Nepal is mandatory.
