The Government of Nepal has announced a recruitment drive for several posts within the Armed Police Force (APF), Nepal. The recruitment notice has been issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Armed Police Force, Nepal, Human Resources Department, Human Resources Directorate, Recruitment and Selection Branch.
The vacant posts are in the General Group, General Sub-Group of the Armed Police Force, Nepal. The required number of posts for each position are as follows: Armed Police Inspector - 68, Armed Police Assistant Sub Inspector - 83, Armed Police Personnel - 941 (with specified numbers for various trades).
For the post of Armed Police Inspector, all selection examinations, including contact, will be held at the Armed Police Force, Nepal Head Office, regardless of where the application form is submitted. For the post of Armed Police Assistant Inspector, the examination will be conducted at the office where the application form was registered. Similarly, for the post of Armed Police Constable, the examination will be conducted in the concerned offices where the application form was registered.
Candidates who have registered their application forms online must download and print a copy of the filled form, submit a recommendation of good character, and appear in person to collect the admit card. For candidates from backward areas, a letter of recommendation from the concerned rural municipality or municipality stating permanent residence in certain districts and possession of a citizenship certificate from the concerned district is required.
For Madhesi, a certificate certified as Madhesi by the specified organization or, if not yet specified, by the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local body is required. For Dalits, a certificate certified as Dalit by the National Dalit Commission or, if there is more than one surname within the caste listed by the National Dalit Commission, a certificate certified as Dalit by the head of the concerned local body is required. For indigenous/tribal people, a certificate certified as such by the Nepal Indigenous/Tribal Upliftment National Foundation is required.
For descendants of immortal/disabled Armed Police personnel, a document confirming immortality/disability and a relationship certificate is required. Applicants can apply online or submit their application form with a Rs. 10/- stamp in person at designated offices. For online applicants, the original application form must be submitted in person by 2081/10/28 during office hours.
The places to register application forms are provided for certain posts, along with contact numbers. The application dates are from 2081/09/24 to 2081/10/24 during office hours. The contact dates, times, and places for the recruitment process are provided for each post.
