Stand-up comedian and actor Vir Das is shedding light on the gritty life of food delivery guys. In a fierce tweet, Vir shared his frustration after seeing his neighbor verbally abusing a delivery agent for delivering the meal 10 minutes late.

In the tweet, Vir expressed his desire to slap his neighbor for treating the delivery guy like that. He wrote, "Just heard someone in the building next door having at a delivery guy. Dude is ten mins late. Never wanted to slap someone more. In Mumbai, the average delivery guy driving an e-scooter is re-enacting the Martian on his way to you. Have a little goddam patience."
Vir's tweet sparked widespread agreement from his followers. One wrote, "And with half the roads dug up, it is inhumane to expect quick delivery." Ain't got time for Air India's nonsense, says Vir Das
When it comes to speaking about real-life issues, Vir Das doesn't hold back. Recently, he slammed Air India for not providing a wheelchair for his wife, despite it being pre-booked on the airline's Pranaam service.
In response, an Air India spokesperson acknowledged that the comedian's experience fell short of expectations and explained that there was a delay in providing the wheelchair to his wife, Shivani Mathur, due to unavoidable circumstances.
Vir criticized the airline in a scathing post, saying he paid ₹50,000 each for two seats in the Air India flight from Mumbai to Delhi on Monday evening but faced multiple issues during the journey. Hours after Vir's post, the airline issued a statement, saying they had taken note of the matter with concern.
