On July 5, 2025, the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru will host the Neeraj Chopra Classic (NC Classic), India's first-ever international javelin-only meet. This prestigious World Athletics Continental Tour Gold event promises a thrilling showdown, featuring some of the world's top javelin athletes.

The NC Classic will showcase a star-studded lineup, including Neeraj Chopra, Thomas Rohler (Germany), Julius Yego (Kenya), Luiz Mauricio Da Silva, Curtis Thompson (USA), and Rumeesh Pathirage (Sri Lanka). These elite global contenders will battle it out for supremacy, with Neeraj Chopra being the standout favourite following his impressive recent performances.

Neeraj Chopra has been in top form this season, with a 90.23m throw in the Doha Diamond League and a season-best 85.29m at the Paris Diamond League and Ostrava Golden Spike meet. His performances have solidified his position as the one to watch in the NC Classic.
