NBA Points Prediction: White Expected to Achieve Over 5 Points against Magic

Expert NBA Playoff Player Props Proposed by Odds Shark for Matches on April 29, 2025: Franz Wagner, Derrick White, and Ivica Zubac Included

NBA Points Prediction: White Expected to Achieve Over 5 Points against Magic

It's a busy NBA playoff schedule on Tuesday, with four exhilarating games to choose from for bettors in the player props market. The Indiana Pacers, New York Knicks, and Boston Celtics each aim to close out their respective series with a home win. Here's a selection of eight expert player prop predictions, one for each team, to consider.

AJ Green OVER 2.5 3-Pointers vs. Pacers (+135 at BetMGM)

Preview: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers, 6 p.m. ET

With Damian Lillard out due to an Achilles injury, the Milwaukee Bucks' title dreams this season may well have come to an end [1]. Now, it's all about how many more games the Indiana Pacers can squeeze out before being eliminated.

Could AJ Green be that player, especially from behind the arc? In three out of four games, Green has buried three or more triples, provided he's played 24 or more minutes [1]. The one exception was when he only saw the court for 12 minutes due to Lillard's initial return from a blood clot. Look for Green to get some extra looks coming off the bench.

Andrew Nembhard OVER 12.5 Points vs. Bucks (+100 at FanDuel)

Preview: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers, 6 p.m. ET

Andrew Nembhard registered just six points on 2-of-8 shooting in Game 3, perhaps causing oddsmakers to keep his points prop relatively tame for Game 5 [1]. However, if you exclude that performance, Nembhard has averaged 18 points per game thus far.

He'll need just 13 points to achieve an OVER at plus money, a reasonable target he hit exactly in the opening two games at home. Nembhard has shot 57.1% or better in those games and is one of four players on the roster currently averaging better than 15 points [1].

Tobias Harris OVER 21.5 Points + Rebounds vs. Knicks (-112 at FanDuel)

Preview: Detroit Pistons vs. New York Knicks, 7:30 p.m. ET

Tobias Harris failed to make bank on his statistics in the one instance where Detroit Pistons went up against the New York Knicks, scoring just five points on nine shot attempts in a narrow two-point loss in Game 3 at Little Caesars Arena [1]. In a do-or-die situation for the Pistons in Game 5, trailing 3-1, the team can surely count on Harris to step up.

He's gone OVER in the points + rebounds combination prop in the other three games, with his two strongest box scores coming at Madison Square Garden in Games 1 (31) and 2 (28) [1]. Being on the road shouldn't diminish Harris' production too much, if at all.

Josh Hart To Record A Double-Double vs. Pistons (+140 at FanDuel)

Preview: Detroit Pistons vs. New York Knicks, 7:30 p.m. ET

Coming off a disappointing performance in Game 3 with just 11 rebounds and nine assists in 41 minutes, Josh Hart is worth taking a flyer on in Game 5 to achieve a double-double [1]. The reserved +140 value could be a good betting opportunity.

Hart's playing time is incredibly high at 38.2 minutes, and he possesses the ability to moonwalk his way to double or even triple-double numbers through sheer grit and effort. Don't overlook the value in this one.

Franz Wagner OVER 23.5 Points vs. Celtics (-102 at FanDuel)

Preview: Orlando Magic vs. Boston Celtics, 8:30 p.m. ET

Although the Orlando Magic may not win this series against the reigning champions, a proven third scorer for the team is sorely needed. So far, only Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner are averaging better than 10 points per game, and an incredible 61.2% of Orlando's total points have come from the two forwards [1].

Wagner has excelled in this series, contributing 26 points on 44.1% shooting, and has reached an OVER on 23.5 points in each of the last three games [1]. The one time he didn't was in Game 1, where he narrowly missed the mark with 23 points. The fact that he went just UNDER by a single point shouldn't be a cause for concern.

Derrick White OVER 15.5 Points vs. Magic (-102 at FanDuel)

Preview: Orlando Magic vs. Boston Celtics, 8:30 p.m. ET

Jrue Holiday is expected to sit out once again in Game 5 due to a hamstring issue, and Jaylen Brown is listed as questionable with a knee injury, although it's likely Brown will compete [1]. Nevertheless, bettors should continue to ride Derrick White's scoring props until further notice.

White has gone OVER 15.5 points in all four games, averaging an impressive 20.3 points while connecting on a modest 38.5% of his 3-point attempts [1]. He's one of just three players on Boston averaging 20 points or more in the series, and his field goal percentage (52.6%) is higher than that of both Brown (49.2%) and Jayson Tatum (40.6%) [1].

Ivica Zubac UNDER 12.5 Rebounds vs. Nuggets (-120 at FanDuel)

Preview: Los Angeles Clippers vs. Denver Nuggets, 10 p.m. ET

Ivica Zubac's rebounding battle with Nikola Jokic has been fierce, as Zubac tries his best to shut down the three-time league MVP. Zubac has played as many as 40 minutes in two games already, despite never playing 40 minutes more than three times in the regular season [1].

Although Zubac ranks fourth in rebounds amongst his fellow big men, 12.5 seems a touch too high for the UNDER given that Zubac has gone UNDER three times against the Denver Nuggets already [1].

Aaron Gordon OVER 5.5 Rebounds vs. Clippers (-106 at FanDuel)

Preview: Los Angeles Clippers vs. Denver Nuggets, 10 p.m. ET

Aaron Gordon's average rebounding numbers tend to fall right at 5.5 rebounds, making this number feel just right. Gordon has averaged 6.8 rebounds through four games and hasn't gone UNDER 5.5 rebound for this line once [1].

His strong box scores have been a result of increased minutes due to the need to guard Kawhi Leonard, which has significantly impacted his overall performance [1]. In Game 4, his incredible buzzer-beating slam dunk sealed a 101-99 victory for the Denver Nuggets [1]. Keep an eye on Gordon as the series continues.

The Indiana Pacers face the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday in a crucial game for both teams. In this game, there's an opportunity to bet on AJ Green from the Pacers, who has made 3 or more 3-pointers in three out of four games he's played in so far [1].

In the NBA playoffs, the Boston Celtics look to secure their series victory at home. If you're interested, consider betting on Franz Wagner from the Orlando Magic, who has scored 26 points in the last three games against the Celtics [1].
