On May 14, I'm parlaying the Celtics and Timberwolves on the moneyline. Even though adding Minnesota to the mix isn't a game-changer, I'm hesitant to lay 5 with Boston and also unwilling to settle for a close to -200 moneyline. Here's my reasoning: Boston doesn't seem ready to throw in the towel just yet, as I expect the Knicks to win this series, but it seems unlikely for Boston to score three wins in a row with Jayson Tatum out. Now, the TD Garden crowd will be fired up, and some guys on the Celtics will undoubtedly step up and make some shots, especially against a Knicks team that struggles defensively. Let's remember that Boston has built a lead of at least 16 points in every game in this series so far. However, it'd be nice if Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis were in peak form, as the team hasn't received much from either of them. But, this game is going to be a heated battle, and I'm backing the Celtics to show up and give it their all - especially in a "Zig-Zag" spot.
Regarding the other series, it's hard to imagine it going to seven games. Minnesota dropped the ball in Game 1, but Golden State's offense without Stephen Curry has been a nightmare for spectators. That trend is unlikely to change in Minnesota, especially since the Timberwolves seemed to break the Warriors' spirit in Game 4. Anthony Edwards lit up the second half in that game, and the team's defense was rocksolid starting midway through the third quarter. I doubt Golden State will be able to create good looks in this game, and I'm confident that Edwards and Julius Randle will continue to slice through the Warriors' defense.

Game 5: New York Knicks at Boston Celtics - 7:00 pm ET
I'm ready to take a risk on Payton Pritchard for some serious scoring in this must-win Game 5 for Boston. Pritchard is averaging an impressive 14.3 points per game in this series, and his recent minutes have been limited, which raises questions about his role in Game 5 with Tatum out. The Knicks haven't had much success guarding Pritchard's long-range shooting, and they've also struggled to stop him from penetrating to the basket. With Jayson Tatum out, Joe Mazzulla will have no choice but to give Pritchard his opportunities to shine. Brown and Porzingis aren't playing at full strength, so Boston will need offense from an unexpected source. I'm counting on Pritchard to fill that role.
