Cavaliers Announce Multi-Platform Broadcast for Upcoming Games
The Cleveland Cavaliers have announced a multi-platform broadcast deal for five upcoming games, ensuring fans across Northeast Ohio and beyond can catch the action live.
The agreement, which includes Rock Entertainment Sports Network and FanDuel Sports Network, will see the games simulcast statewide. For those in Northeast Ohio, the games can also be accessed on WUAB Channel 43.
The schedule includes a highly anticipated matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies on Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m. EST, followed by a clash with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. EST. Other games in the lineup are the Brooklyn Nets on Mar. 11 at 7 p.m. EST, the San Antonio Spurs on Mar. 27 at 7 p.m. EST, and the New York Knicks on Apr. 2 at 7 p.m. EST.
In a statement, David Hughes, vice president and general manager of WOIO and WUAB, expressed his excitement about the agreement. Mike Conley, executive vice president and chief information officer of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Rock Entertainment Group, and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, also made a statement in support of the deal.
While the specifics of a potential agreement involving the Cleveland Cavaliers, Rock Entertainment Sports Network, Gray Media, FanDuel Sports Network, and Main Street Sports Group for the 2025-26 NBA season could not be found, it is known that FanDuel Sports Network has a local rights extension for Cavaliers games through the 2026-27 season.
Nationally, the NBA has new media rights deals with ESPN, NBC Sports, and Amazon Prime Video replacing TNT from the 2025-26 season onward. NBC and Peacock will simulcast certain games, including some involving the Cavaliers.
In addition to Rock Entertainment Sports Network and FanDuel Sports Network Ohio, the games will be available for local over-the-air distribution in Columbus and Cincinnati. Fans in Northeast Ohio can find Rock Entertainment Sports Network on channel 979 on Spectrum and free over-the-air on channel 22.1. Fans in Cincinnati can view the games on channel 19.3, while those in Columbus can tune in to channel 17.1 WDEM.
