Navigate the drama of 'The Morning Show' Season 4 on Apple TV+, as Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon tackle a combined network and the Paris Olympics, stirring up intrigue and conflict.

The fourth season of the acclaimed drama series "The Morning Show" is now available on Apple TV+, bringing back its star-studded cast and introducing a new paradigm at the network.

Jennifer Aniston reprises her role as Alex Levy, the face of the network who helps run it in an untitled capacity. Alongside her is Reese Witherspoon as Bradley Jackson, who has reservations about returning to the business due to a potential scandal that may be covered up by UBN.

In the first episode of Season 4, set in April 2024 and covering the Paris Olympic Games, the show's numerous stories feel ungrounded in the real media world right now. However, Mia Jordan (Karen Pittman) comes up with a plan to have Bradley Jackson return as a fill-in for Christina Hunter on The Morning Show.

Meanwhile, Cory Ellison (Mark Duplass) is trying to salvage a film that just lost its star, while Stella Bak (Greta Lee) and Ben (William Jackson Harper), the CEO and Head of Sports of the network, respectively, continue to navigate the challenges of their roles.

Stella Bak is also having a secret affair, the reason for which is revealed later in the episode. On the other hand, Alex Levy helps a young Iranian fencer and her father defect from their country, adding a humanitarian touch to the series.

Cory Ellison gives a long speech about why people need a film like this during the era of superhero movies, but his star actress quits after the speech. Bro (Boyd Holbrook) is a host of a Joe Rogan-esque podcast that the network simulcasts, adding a modern twist to the series.

The new showrunner for the fifth season of "The Morning Show" is Charlotte Stoudt. Kerry Ehrin was showrunner for seasons 1 and 2, Charlotte Stoudt took over in season 3, and continues in this role for season 5. With the addition of Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons to the cast, Charlotte Stoudt has Oscar-winning firepower to call on for the upcoming season.

The fourth season of "The Morning Show" introduces a supposedly new paradigm at the network, with old characters in new jobs and new characters joining the cast. The show, however, seems to have moved away from being a show about a news network and more like a series of monologues between characters.

Nonetheless, Mia Jordan continues to be the only person at UBN who seems to have her head on straight and wants to produce a legitimate news show. As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see how the characters navigate the Paris Olympics, the 2024 storylines, and the challenges that come their way.

With its engaging plotlines, stellar cast, and thought-provoking themes, "The Morning Show" continues to be a must-watch for fans of drama series. Tune in to Apple TV+ to catch up on the latest season and prepare for the upcoming fifth season.
