Boasting a crew over 100 strong, the ship arrived back at its home port just in time for the festivities of Christmas and the New Year. To welcome back the weary seafarers, friends and loved ones gathered by the pier to share their greetings.

Throughout the summer, the "Frank Frankfurt am Main" embarked upon a "NATO Support ÄGÄIS" mission stationed in the Aegean Sea.
