Nationwide Alert Day Scheduled for September 11th
=======================================================================
Fire Department Bottrop has announced that Germany will hold a nationwide warning day on September 11, 2025. This important event, which will test various means for danger and disaster situations, will also include a siren test in the Bottrop city area.
The siren test is scheduled for 11:00 AM and will follow a scheme similar to previous years. At 11:06 AM, a one-minute warning tone (wailing tone) will be played on the sirens. This is followed by a one-minute all-clear tone (continuous tone) at 11:12 AM. It is important to note that this test does not require any action from the public.
In case of real danger, uncovered areas will be warned by loudspeaker vehicles from the police and fire department. For the mobile warning, WarnApp NINA and Cell Broadcast will be used.
It is worth mentioning that sirens do not cover the entire Bottrop city area, and it is essential to be aware of this fact.
