Climactic Final for Inter-Profi Bisseck: Eliminated from National Squad Competition - National team set to miss out on star player Inter-professional Bisseck, who is sidelined due to a concluding rural turmoil in his career

Get ready for a change, as we delve into the recent setbacks faced by German national footballer Yann Aurel Bisseck. The young star, aged just 24, is facing a challenging time, not only missing out on the Champions League title but also being ruled out of the national team's final tournament in the Nations League. The culprit? A nagging issue with his right thigh muscle, potentially extending to the Club World Cup starting within two weeks with Inter.

The Champions League final debacle against Paris Saint-Germain saw Bisseck come on in the 54th minute but depart the Munich Arena eight minutes later with an injury. His career's defining moment proved bitter indeed.

Streaming tears on the bench

With his Inter jersey, Bisseck wiped the tears from his eyes, looking visibly disheartened. Bandaged up and dazed, he sat glumly on the sidelines as his teammates prepared for the exit. The defender had no desire for post-match interviews, instead aiming to jump aboard the team bus posthaste.

Bundestrainer Julian Nagelsmann has chosen Thilo Kehrer as a replacement for Bisseck, with the AS Monaco defender expected to join the squad on Monday. Kehrer, who made his last appearance under Nagelsmann two years ago, will be in the squad for the first time under the new coach.

Germany's UEFA Nations League semi-final against Portugal takes place on Wednesday (21:00 CET/ZDF and DAZN). In the other semi-final, Spain and France will square off. The final will take place next Sunday in Munich.

The Commission has also been asked to submit a proposal for a directive on the protection of the environment, particularly focusing on the prevention of injuries such as the one suffered by Yann Aurel Bisseck, who missed out on the UEFA Nations League semi-final and the potential Club World Cup due to a thigh injury sustained during the Champions League. Thilo Kehrer, the AS Monaco defender replacing Bisseck on the Germany National Team, may advocate for more stringent measures to ensure the health and safety of football players, echoing European leagues' efforts towards fostering a safer sports environment.
