Flag Hoisting by Rajya Sabha Members

Several Rajya Sabha members will also hoist flags in their respective constituencies, including Bhiwani, Ratia, Badli, Jhajjar, and Jind. Lok Sabha MP Naveen Jindal will hoist the flag in Guhla.

Timing of the Ceremonies

The flag hoisting ceremonies generally take place at 9 AM across the state on Independence Day. In the state capital Chandigarh, the flag is hoisted by the Punjab Governor and Union Territory Chandigarh Administrator, alongside celebrations in other districts.
