National Film Awards 2025: Rani Mukerji nabs her inaugural National Film Award in the Best Actress category for her portrayal in Mrs. Chatterjee versus Norway

"Deep Fridge" was honoured as Best Bengali Film, and "Rongatapu 1982" won Best Assamese Film.
Other awards included Best Action Direction to Nandu-Prudhvi for "HanuMan," Best Choreography to Vaibhavi Merchant for "Dindhora Baje Re" from "RockyAur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani," Best Music Direction to GV Prakash Kumar for "Vaathi" and Harshavardhan Rameshwar for "Animal," and Best Makeup and Costume Design for "Sam Bahadur."
Vicky Kaushal's "Sam Bahadur" won multiple awards, including Best Makeup, Best Costume, and Best Feature Film Promoting National, Social, and Environmental Values. Adah Sharma's "The Kerala Story," Sanya Malhotra's "Kathal," Teja Sajja's "Hanu-Man," and Ranbir Kapoor's "Animal" received notable mentions in multiple categories.
