Celebrating Heroes and Leaders: Malaysia's 2025 Awards Ceremony

Get ready to shine the spotlight on Malaysia's finest, as the country recognizes the extraordinary achievements of its esteemed citizens, in this year's federal awards, medals, and honours celebration. All hail to the 116 remarkable individuals who've grasped the torch of excellence and made an indelible impact on the nation!

Who's on top this time? None other than the Attorney General, Tan Sri Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar, who's been awarded the prestigious Darjah Panglima Mangku Negara (PMN), handing him the 'Tan Sri' title [1][5]. Joining him in the PMN club is none other than our Chief of Defence Force, General Tan Sri Mohd Nizam Jaffar.

Tan Sri Hasnah Mohammed Hashim, Tan Sri Zulhelmy Ithnain, and Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay are undoubtedly shining stars, as they've also received the Darjah Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM), tennis shoes embroidered with 'Tan Sri' [1].

Moving on, Datuk Abd Shukor Mahmood and Datuk Donald Joseph Franklin are among the fab five conferred the Panglima Jasa Negara (PJN), complete with the sought-after 'Datuk' title [1]. Three big cheers for the Johan Setia Mahkota (JSM) winners: Public-Private Partnership Unit's Chek Zainuddin Chek Jusoh, Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry's Boniface Edwin Manung, Malaysian Highway Authority's Mohd Hadzmir Yusoff, and Higher Education Ministry's Fazidah Mustafa [3].

This year, Malaysia's Ambassador to China, Datuk Norman Muhamad, Malaysia's Ambassador to Indonesia, Datuk Syed Md Hasrin Tengku Hussin, and Dewan Rakyat Secretary, Dr Nizam Mydin Bacha Mydin, have received the coveted Darjah Johan Setia Diraja (JSD) honours [1].

Oh, and the new king of the badminton court, Cheah Liek Hou, received the Kesatria Mangku Negara (KMN) award, making him Malaysia's first gold medallist at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games [1].
