Nation across the U.S. to Witness Wide-spread Premieres of Horror Flicks by Cineverse and Iconic Events
Cineverse, a modern entertainment studio listed on Nasdaq (CNVS), has partnered with Iconic Events Releasing for the theatrical distribution of two upcoming horror films. The partnership was announced in April 2025 and centres around the highly-anticipated remake of the slasher cult classic, Silent Night, Deadly Night.
Silent Night, Deadly Night (2025) is directed by Mike P. Nelson and stars Rohan Campbell as Billy and Ruby Modine as Pamela. The film is set for a theatrical release on December 12, 2025. Studios involved in the production include Studiocanal’s new genre label Sixth Dimension, which holds global rights excluding North America. Cineverse and Iconic Events Releasing will manage North American theatrical distribution.
Cineverse's horror division, Bloody Disgusting, operates a major horror destination and was also involved in the partnership. The partnership was announced following the selection of Iconic Events Releasing as the theatrical distribution partner for Silent Night, Deadly Night.
Regarding another horror film, Return to Silent Hill, there is currently no direct information about a similar theatrical distribution partnership involving Cineverse and Iconic Events Releasing. However, Return to Silent Hill is directed by Christophe Gans and stars Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson. Akira Yamaoka, the original composer of the Silent Hill series, returns for this psychological horror film based on the KONAMI video game series, scheduled for a wide theatrical release on January 23, 2026.
In addition to theatrical distribution, Cineverse offers a variety of services. They specialize in Content Licensing, Encoding, Blu-Ray & 4K Ultra HD Distribution, Digital Distribution, DCP services, Software & Tools, Marketing, and Promotions & Advertising.
