Man City midfield maestro Kevin De Bruyne is on the brink of finalizing a free transfer to Serie A champions Napoli, with the Deal set to be officially unveiled imminently. De Bruyne, who spanned a decade at City, amassing six Premier League titles and the 2023 Champions League, will link up with coach Maurizio Sarri in Italy.

After ending speculation surrounding his future, De Bruyne, 33, will be under Conte's guidance, having agreed to pen a two-year contract with an optional third year. Previous rumors had hinted at Conte's potential return to Juventus, but the Napoli boss has elected to stay with Napoli, maintaining their Scudetto defense.

Conte and Napoli have agreed to collaborate further, as the contracted coach and club aim to build on their shared vision and continue their pursuit of domestic and European glory. In a statement to Sky Sport, Conte stated, "We evaluate our past season, shared assessments, and if we have mutual aspirations, we move forward because we are committed people."

Under Conte's tenure, Napoli has experienced a resurgence, with Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay thriving under the manager's guidance. McTominay, in particular, joined Napoli seamlessly from Manchester United. The arrival of De Bruyne is poised to reinforced Napoli's goal-scoring options, as they aim to maintain their status as Italy's top club.

Several sources have confirmed De Bruyne's upcoming move to Napoli, with the agreement close to completion. The official announcement is expected shortly.

  1. For the upcoming season, Napoli, currently the Serie A champions, are strengthening their squad with the addition of Manchester City's midfield star Kevin De Bruyne, a proven champion in both the Premier League and Champions League.
  2. De Bruyne's move to Napoli from Man City, under the guidance of coach Antonio Conte, signals an ambitious pursuit of European glory in Italy's top-tier football league.
  3. With the signing of De Bruyne, Napoli aims to fortify their goal-scoring options, bolstering their existing talent pool that already includes Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay, both of whom have thrived under Conte's management.
