Moncrieff's Debut Album: A Summer Vibe for the Soul

Musician Moncrieff unveils summer-themed soundtrack - Musician Moncrieff to Release Summer Soundtrack.

Straight outta Ireland's heart, Moncrieff is about to shake up the music scene with his debut "Maybe It's Fine"! This Dublin-born, London-based singer-songwriter promises to captivate your ears and radio stations with his diversity in soul, R&B, pop, and electronic influences.

Starting in November, Moncrieff will embark on a whopping nine-gig tour across Germany.

Moncrieff's album boasts twelve kicking tunes, lasting a solid 39 minutes and serving as an infectious soundtrack for your summer playlists.

From party-starting anthems like "Something to You," that'll make you feel like you're sitting by a campfire, to the heart-wrenching "Hard Feelings," which will have you thinking Harry Styles has a doppelgänger, you won't want to miss the title track, "Maybe It's Fine," which is rougher and more unpolished than his previous hits [1].

Moncrieff's music takes you on a rollercoaster ride through themes of love, relationships, loss, and grief. As a young lad, he suffered a devastating loss when he lost his sister and brother within two years. It's clear that he pour his heart out into his songs, often tackling topics like mental health and self-discovery [2].

Moncrieff is none other than Chris Breheny, a man who can comfortably paint his nails, play hurling in the afternoon, and party in high heels at night - a veritable jack-of-all-trades! A London banker named Moncrieff once encouraged him after an emotional performance, and the rest was history! [3]

Adele has already swooned over Moncrieff's backing vocals, and Elton John and Avicii were fans, although Moncrieff sadly never got the chance to collaborate with Avicii due to his tragic demise in 2018 [4].

Raised in County Waterford, Moncrieff was a rare bird in a nest full of sports enthusiasts. After studying law, he found music to be his release, providing him relief after years of conforming in an all-boys school.

Moncrieff doesn't shy away from expressing his identity, refusing to be pigeonholed, musically or otherwise [5].

If you're a fan of Harry Styles and Taylor Swift, and can't get enough of pop-infused R&B, dig into Moncrieff's "Maybe It's Fine"! Particularly check out the heartwarming closer "How It Ends," the gospel-inspired opener "Holding On," and the vulnerable, self-affirming "Float," which reminds us that we're exactly where we're supposed to be, despite our flaws and doubts [6].
