Hell yeah! Halsey and Amy Lee of Evanescence have teamed up for the first time ever and dropped a new banger, "Hand That Feeds," on May 9th!
You can catch this badass collaboration in the upcoming flick, From the World of John Wick: Ballerina. That's right, it's official—Halsey will have Evanescence as a freakin' special guest at her Wednesday gig at the Hollywood Bowl!
Amy took to X (Twitter's old self) to break the news, writing, "Thrilled as f**k to deliver our new song 'Hand That Feed' with @halsey THIS FRIDAY!"
According to the songstress, the two musicians have been fans of each other's work for a while, and the universe just had to bring them together for this epic moment.
Amy further revealed that they initially had the Hollywood Bowl show scheduled, but Lionsgate invited them to create a song for the Ballerina movie, and here we are!
Halsey shared similar sentiments on her Instagram, posting a polaroid of the two musicians. She captioned it as, "Been a fan of @amylee since I was 11 years old. Evanescence created a freakin' haven for me when I couldn't stand the outside world. I wouldn't be the artist I am today without Evanescence, and working with Amy on Hand That Feeds is one of the most surreal moments of my freakin' life. I'll carry this forever."
The song release coordinated perfectly with the release of Ballerina, starring Ana de Armas, which is set to premiere on June 6th as a spinoff of the popular Keanu Reeves' (John Wick) film franchise. So, mark your calendars, folks!
