Music Teacher of the Year Awards 2023: Vote Now for Best Music Learning Initiative
The Music Teacher of the Year Awards 2023, in partnership with ABRSM, have returned for another year. These awards celebrate and honour music teachers who have significantly impacted young people's musical journeys. Nominations are now closed for several categories, including Teachers of primary/secondary school age, SEND music teachers, and visiting music teachers. However, voting is still open for the Best Music Learning Initiative category, which will remain so until 23:59 on Friday 15 September.
Each category winner will receive a generous £3,000 prize, sponsored by Viking. This prize money can be used to purchase musical instruments and equipment, further enhancing the winner's ability to inspire young musicians. The Best Music Learning Initiative category is particularly special as it allows the public to vote for their favourite initiative. This category recognises innovative teaching methods and projects that have made a real difference to young people's musical lives.
Unfortunately, the search results do not provide information about the name of the person who led the 'Robin Hood Music Festival' in Doncaster. Despite this, the awards continue to shine a light on the incredible work done by music teachers across the country.
The Music Teacher of the Year Awards 2023 are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate and reward the hard work and dedication of music teachers. If you know of an exceptional music learning initiative, make sure to cast your vote before the deadline. The winners will be announced later this year, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements.
