Music supervisor of 'American Idol' and his spouse inexplicably meet tragic end in their Los Angeles residence, with a suspect apprehended.

In a shocking turn of events, a 22-year-old man named Raymond Boodarian from Encino, Los Angeles, has been arrested in connection with the murders of Robin Kaye, a renowned music supervisor for the popular TV show "American Idol," and her husband, Thomas Deluca, both aged 70.

Boodarian, who has a history of alleged violent offenses, was apprehended at his home on Tuesday. The arrest came after a series of events that unfolded on Monday, when the victims were found shot to death in their Los Angeles home during a welfare check.

According to the police, both victims were found with multiple gunshot wounds. The motive behind the murders remains unclear, but investigators believe it might have been a home invasion gone wrong. It is reported that Boodarian entered the premises through an unlocked door, despite the home being highly fortified with security cameras and a large wall.

Two calls about a possible burglary were made to the Los Angeles Police Department on July 10, after a person was seen jumping the fence onto the property. Officers responding to the calls were unable to enter the home due to its fortified structure with 8-foot walls and spikes.

Detectives have found a gun at Boodarian's residence that will be tested to determine if it was the alleged murder weapon. However, police do not believe Boodarian knew the victims.

Robin Kaye had been a member of the "American Idol" team since 2009. Her passing has left the show's community in mourning, with the spokesperson expressing condolences over the tragic loss.

The LAPD is currently investigating how police responded to the initial burglary call last week to ensure appropriate handling. Boodarian is being held without bail, according to online jail records, and the Los Angeles Police Department is compiling a case to present to the Los Angeles County district attorney for a charging decision, which may come on Thursday.
