Music School Event Scheduled for September 25th
The Lueneburg Music School is set to host a captivating Vocal Evening on September 25, 2025, at the Aula of the Freiherr-vom-Stein-Gymnasium. This event, scheduled for 8 PM, promises an enchanting mix of operatic works, sacred music, blues, jazz, and musical numbers, appealing to a wide array of music lovers.
The programme for the evening features a diverse range of pieces, including "Dôme épais" from Leo Delibes' opera "Lakmé", the soulful "Georgia on My Mind" popularized by Ray Charles, and contemporary hits like "Hold Back the River" by James Bay and Iain Archer.
The performers for the evening are a talented ensemble, hailing from various corners of the music world. Students from Monika Bergmann's singing class at the music school of the city of Lueneburg will grace the stage, accompanied by the renowned vocal teacher herself, who resides in Lueneburg, Germany.
In addition, the youth choir "Choirful" will lend their voices to the evening's repertoire, adding a youthful energy to the performances. The rhythm section will be handled by Ullrich Gronemeyer on drums, and Michael Kuhlmann will accompany the performances on piano, ensuring a harmonious and engaging musical experience.
