Music publishing company Peermusic secures deal with UK-based musician, producer, and artist ADP.
In a significant move for the music industry, Peermusic has announced a worldwide publishing deal with British writer/producer and recording artist ADP. The deal, which covers not only ADP's select catalogue but also his future works, is a collaborative effort between the Peermusic UK and Peermusic US offices.
ADP, who emerged more than a decade ago as the executive producer behind Krept & Konan's debut mixtape Young Kingz in 2013, has since made a name for himself in the industry with his production skills. His work includes collaborations with a diverse range of artists such as Chris Brown, Hanumankind, Tyga, Big Sean, Marshmello, Dua Lipa, MIA, Krept & Konan, Yungen, Yxng Bane, Flo Milli, Justine Skye, Rita Ora, Eric Bellinger, Fridayy, FLO, Nora Fatehi, Pharrell, Snoop Dogg, Zayn, Charlotte Plank, and many more.
One of ADP's most notable productions is Passing Time, which was on the deluxe edition of Chris Brown's album Heartbreak On A Full Moon and was nominated for Best R&B Album at the Grammys. He also produced Frustrated and If You're Down on the same album. Another significant achievement is his production of two UK Top 10 platinum singles - Krept & Konan's Freak Of The Week and Yungen's Bestie featuring Yxng Bane.
ADP's first single as a recording artist, No Good for Me, featuring Jeremih and Ebenezer, was released in 2017. His production work extends beyond the UK, with credits on Dua Lipa's Want To and MIA's album AIM.
Tuff Morgan, vice president of A&R at Peermusic US, and Harry Knyt, head of A&R UK at Peermusic, are both involved in the deal with ADP. Ralph W Peer, managing director of Peermusic's UK, Australasia, and vice president of Peermusic's African and Middle East operations, is also part of the team.
ADP expressed his excitement about joining the Peermusic family and having the support of their global network behind his songs. The Peermusic team, in turn, has made quick work of setting the pace for what's to come with ADP, with exciting projects in the works.
