Music publishing company Concord has elevated Tom Coulson-Smith to the role of Vice President, A&R, a significant position within the industry.

In a recent announcement, Tom Coulson-Smith has been promoted to the position of Vice President, A&R at Concord Music Publishing. This move comes after his successful tenure as senior director of A&R, where he has played a significant role in signing and developing a diverse roster of influential contemporary musicians and producers.

Kim Frankiewicz, EVP worldwide A&R at Concord Music Publishing, praised Coulson-Smith, saying, "Tom's experience proves he is supporting talent with an unwavering, artist-first commitment. Tom cares deeply - not just about the music, but about the people who create it."

Notable artists, songwriters, and producers that Coulson-Smith has worked with include Zach Nahome, Mount Kimbie, Biffy Clyro, Wesley Joseph, Fred Ball, Justin Parker, Yazmin Lacey, The 1975, Ed Thomas, and Kurisu.

Ed Thomas, a recent signee and co-writer/producer on Jorja Smith's The Way I Love You, is one of Coulson-Smith's key collaborators. Other artists he has worked with include Celeste, Lianne La Havas, Marina, and Winnie Raeder at Warner/Chappell Music.

Coulson-Smith will continue to report to Kim Frankiewicz and will focus on signing and developing talent within the UK and globally. His new role will further Concord Music Publishing's strategic focus on expanding its global presence in talent development.

Coulson-Smith expressed gratitude towards his colleagues, saying, "Huge shout out to Kim who's had my back from the very beginning!"
