Music publisher Warner Chappell has inked a deal with rising star Plested, a hitmaker well-known for his catchy tunes.
Phil Plested, a renowned songwriter known for his diverse range and global appeal, has officially joined forces with Warner Chappell Music. This significant move marks a special moment for both parties, as they embark on a new creative journey together.
Plested's impressive portfolio includes collaborations with some of the biggest names in the music industry. Artists such as Anne-Marie, Bastille, David Guetta & Bebe Rexha, Jonas Brothers, Kygo, Lewis Capaldi, Little Mix, Niall Horan, and The Vamps have all benefited from his songwriting prowess.
One of his most notable achievements came in 2019, when he penned Lewis Capaldi's UK No.1 hit, "Before You Go," which also earned an ASCAP Award for Most Performed Pop Song. He subsequently repeated this success with another UK No.1, "Forget Me," also for Capaldi.
Plested's catalogue of songs also includes global hits like Kygo & One Republic's "Lose Somebody" and Marshmello & Jonas Brothers' "Leave Before You Love Me." This diverse roster spans pop, electronic, and indie genres, a testament to Plested’s broad appeal as a songwriter.
