Music industry figures express sorrow over the demise of Brian Wilson, founding member and key creative force behind The Beach Boys.

Gone at 82, the legendary co-founder of the Beach Boys, Brian Wilson, has left an indelible mark on the music world. His family announced his passing on social media, and the news has sent ripples of sorrow across the entertainment industry.

"Rest in peace, Brian Wilson," posted Keith Richards, a founding member of the Rolling Stones, paying homage to the Beach Boys maestro on Instagram. Carole King, another legendary songwriter, wrote a heartfelt message on Facebook, expressing her loss and sharing a sense of camaraderie with Wilson in their shared love for music.

John Cusack, who portrayed Brian Wilson in the 2014 biopic "Love & Mercy," paid an emotional tribute, describing Wilson as an "open heart on two legs with an ear that heard the angels." Sean Ono Lennon, son of the late Beatles John Lennon, also expressed his profound sadness, stating that Brian Wilson was one of the few who had significantly influenced him.

Nancy Sinatra, the daughter of the legendary Frank Sinatra, remembered Wilson with a nostalgic post on Instagram, sharing a recording of their old collaboration on "California Girls."

Brian Wilson played a crucial role in the formation of the Beach Boys in California in 1961, alongside his brothers, Dennis and Carl, cousin Mike Love, and school friend Alan Jardine. As the band's co-lead singer, songwriter, bass guitarist, and keyboardist, Wilson crafted hits like "Surfin' U.S.A.", "Wouldn't It Be Nice", "Good Vibrations", and "California Dreamin'." The Beach Boys, with their distinctive sound, are considered one of the most successful pop bands of the Sixties and Seventies.

While there's no official record of tributes from other celebrities and musicians upon Wilson's passing, it is likely that more tributes were made following the news, as the music world mourns the loss of a true legend.

I'm not going to be here to enjoy the upcoming concerts and shows, for the entertainment industry has lost a significant figure. The music world will be quieter without Brian Wilson's distinctive tunes that once filled our ears.
