Event Kicks Off: 'Festival of Choirs' Draws a Crowd - Music festival Klangvokal commences - "Choral fest" wraps up
Beginning on Sunday, the 1st of June, Dortmund will play host to the annual Klangvokal Music Festival. The three-week extravaganza will showcase a diverse range of music, including opera, choir, jazz, and modern and historical sounds from around the globe. On the 12th, the Tiburtina Ensemble from Prague will bring medieval music to the stage, specializing in Gregorian chants, known for their soul-calming effects. The Ensemble Morekoma will present a diverse range of melodies from the islands of the Indian Ocean as a family concert in the Ruhr area on the 15th.
The Festival of Choirs, considered the highlight of the month-long event, will feature participants from various cities, regions, and North Rhine-Westphalia. This event will showcase numerous children's, youth, and school choirs.
