Music Business Developments: Model Suki Waterhouse Signs with Island Records

After signing with Island Records, British model-turned-singer Suki Waterhouse has announced an exciting lineup of activities for the remainder of 2025.

In August, Waterhouse will headline shows and festival performances across Europe. Highlights include a performance at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on August 25, as well as shows in Luxembourg and other festivals.

In October, Waterhouse will support Laufey on the North American "A Matter of Time Tour." Notable dates include October 6 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City and October 23 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. This collaboration showcases a blend of Laufey’s jazz-pop with Waterhouse’s indie style and is part of the promotion for Laufey’s forthcoming album "A Matter of Time," releasing August 22, co-produced by Aaron Dessner.

Waterhouse’s upcoming activities also include collaborative live performances with Laufey, indirectly linking to work connected with Dessner’s production through Laufey's album context. As of now, no other specific studio collaborations have been reported following her Island Records signing.

Waterhouse’s sophomore album, "Memoir of a Sparklemuffin," was released via Sub Pop Records. The deluxe edition of the album includes new songs and live recordings from her sold-out headlining shows at Brooklyn’s Paramount Theatre. The deluxe edition features a special performance of "Yeah! Oh, Yeah!" with Stephin Merritt of The Magnetic Fields.

Stay tuned for more updates on Suki Waterhouse’s exciting journey in the music industry.
