Mushrooms uncovered in intact state, spread across the area of Druogno
In the picturesque Vigezzo Valley, a joint rescue operation took place today, Wednesday 13, to locate and bring back a missing mushroom picker who had ventured into the woods above the town of Druogno.
The operation involved local firefighters, the Sagf, the Valdossola Alpine Rescue, and volunteers, who combed the forested area in search of the individual. The firefighters' team included a helicopter, which played a crucial role in locating the missing mushroom picker in the Orcesco area.
Upon being found, the rescued man was in good health and was met by personnel from the 118 upon reaching the valley. He was then taken down to the valley and handed over to the care of the emergency services.
The successful rescue operation marked the end of a day-long search that began at noon, highlighting the dedication and teamwork of the rescue services in ensuring the safety of those in need.
As always, the specific details of the incident, such as the identity of the mushroom picker, the exact circumstances of their disappearance, and any follow-up on their condition, would depend on the particular incident and any subsequent updates.
