Munich’s Rohrersteg Bridge to undergo cleaning with minor disruptions

Cleaning work on Munich’s Rohrersteg Bridge will start on Tuesday, December 2. The project, led by Grünflächenamt München, is expected to last around two weeks.

The bridge will stay open to pedestrians and cyclists during the work. However, minor delays may happen as crews carry out the cleaning.

Cyclists have been asked to dismount and walk their bikes through the affected area. The process could leave surfaces slippery, making it unsafe to ride through the section.

The cleaning will wrap up in about two weeks. Until then, users of the bridge should expect some disruption. Pedestrians and cyclists are advised to take extra care when crossing.
