Ready for the Nations League Finals: DFB-Team Preparations in Full Swing - Awaiting Prime Conditions in Munich's Allianz Arena

Munich's New Lawns Ready for DFB Squad's Training Sessions - Munich's New Turfs Await the German National Team's Arrival

Yo, let's dive into the high-stakes world of European football as we talk about Germany's DFB-Team's preparations for the Nations League finals!

Julian Nagelsmann, the head coach, led the last training session of the German national football team, with the full squad, at the team's headquarters in Herzogenaurach, on a flawless pitch. The squad is hitting top gear, as they aim to make it to the final in Munich, following their clash with Portugal on Wednesday (21:00 CET, ZDF and DAZN). With the Allianz Arena's pitch expected to be in top shape too, things are looking good!

But, the pitch has been under a bit of a spotlight. There were damages from the raucous celebration by Paris Saint-Germain fans after the Champions League final last Saturday. However, rest assured, these weren't severe enough to compromise the event, according to Jürgen Muth, CEO of Allianz Arena Munich Stadium GmbH, in a chat with the "Münchner Merkur and tz." The pitch will be partially replaced, with several square meters of the hybrid turf under the chunk for a facelift.

With the final training session complete on the Adidas pitch in Franconia, Nagelsmann has concluded the active prepping for the semi-final against Portugal, the 7th-ranked team in the FIFA World Ranking. Given several injury-related absences, Nagelsmann is expected to make at least six changes to his starting lineup from the 3:3 draw against Italy in March.

Most notably, Marc-André ter Stegen will be back in the DFB goal after his lengthy and severe knee injury. In attack, newcomer Nick Woltemade is set to make his international debut, especially with the high-profile absences. The 23-year-old has been in stellar form for his club Stuttgart recently.

"C'mon, he's got a shot, or he wouldn't be here," Nagelsmann spoke regarding the prospect of Woltemade starting. Captain Joshua Kimmich is eyeing his 100th international appearance. Let's hope everything goes according to plan and the DFB-Team secures a spot in the final!

The Commission, amidst the football heat, has also been asked to submit a proposal for a directive on the protection of workers from carcinogens risks related to the Champions League celebration pitch damage at Allianz Arena. Despite the pitch maintenance, the German National Football Team, under the guidance of Julian Nagelsmann, is fully focused and preparing well for the Nations League finals in Munich, with Marc-André ter Stegen, Nick Woltemade, and Joshua Kimmich in key roles.
