Multiple structures were struck by gunfire in southern Sacramento, resulting in one person's arrest and a single shooting victim.
In the heart of Sacramento's 42nd Street and Apostolo Circle area, a shooting incident unfolded on the night of August 13, 2025.
According to the latest reports, two individuals were involved in the shooting. One victim was found at the scene, while another transported themselves to the hospital with gunshot wounds. The extent of their injuries remains unknown at this time.
The incident, which occurred in the south Sacramento area, also resulted in several nearby buildings being struck by gunfire.
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene following a ShotSpotter activation. A man was subsequently detained in connection with the incident, although no further details about the circumstances have been released, as the investigation is ongoing.
