In a shocking turn of events, a stabbing spree has swept through the Indigenous community of James Smith Cree Nation and the neighboring community of Weldon, Saskatchewan, Canada. At least 10 individuals have lost their lives, and 15 more are reported injured in this tragic incident.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have launched a manhunt for the suspected perpetrators, identified as Myles Sanderson (30) and Damien Sanderson (31). The dangerous person alert was issued in the morning, and the search and alert have expanded to include surrounding Manitoba and Alberta districts. Checkpoints have been set up on freeways and roads across the region, with the suspects' last known location being in Saskatchewan.

The RCMP Aide Commissioner Rhonda Blackmore confirmed that the victims were targeted by the suspects in some cases, while others were struck randomly. The vast region covered by the alert and search is nearly half the size of Europe, with three helicopters sent off from Saskatoon and Regina to transport stabbing victims and bring a doctor to the scene.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has confirmed that several individuals are being triaged and treated at multiple sites. In response to the high number of critical patients, emergency methods have been triggered to handle the situation.

The Head of State, Justin Trudeau, has called the attacks 'dreadful and heartbreaking' and urged residents to follow the authorities' directions. The James Smith Cree Nation, with a population of 2,500, has declared a local state of emergency.

Diane Shier, a resident of Weldon, lost a neighbor, a man who lived with his grandson, in the attack. Residents of Saskatchewan province have been advised to shelter in place.
