Chaos in Gaza: Over 35 Deaths near Aid Centers

Multiple Palestinians fatalities documented in gunfire incidents close to assistance facilities

In the heart of the Gaza Strip, tragedy strikes again. The controversial aid organization GHF, responsible for food distribution, has become a hotspot for violence. Recent Israeli attacks have claimed the lives of at least 35 Palestinians as per local health authorities.

Over the last week, Israel has escalated its attacks in the Gaza Strip. Most of the victims were near a food distribution point of the US-backed GHF in the coastal region. The Israeli military remains tight-lipped about these incidents.

In another devastating turn of events, 25 more lives were lost and dozens injured as they approached the distribution point in the center of the region. Additional casualties were reported in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip, where ten people were killed in Israeli attacks. The Israeli military has yet to comment on these attacks.

Deadly Incidents Near GHF Aid Stations

Repeated fatalities have occurred near GHF aid stations. On Tuesday alone, 17 deaths were reported near another GHF aid station in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, according to authorities controlled by Hamas terror militia. The Israeli army defends its actions, claiming it fired warning shots to keep "suspects" at a distance who allegedly posed a threat.

The deployment of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) began last month, replacing the UN and international aid organizations in the Gaza Strip, after a nearly three-month Israeli blockade of aid supplies. Israel and the USA aim to prevent Hamas from misusing humanitarian aid through the deployment of GHF.

Food Security for 2.1 Million Residents

The foundation has established four "Secure Distribution Sites" (SDS) to supply around 1.2 million inhabitants in southern and central Gaza. To obtain food, many Palestinians must travel long distances through the ravaged strip. The Israeli military advises against deviating from the designated roads on Facebook.

However, it remains unclear how many people understand these instructions fully, as access to one of the SDS, SDS-01, brings them close to positions of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).

The foundation claims that GHF has so far distributed approximately 12 million meals in the coastal region. According to Israeli statistics, 350 aid shipments entered the Gaza Strip last week. However, the UN estimates a daily requirement of at least 500 to 600 truckloads to meet consumption needs effectively.

Ongoing Crisis and International Concerns

The Gaza Strip is in the grip of a critical humanitarian crisis. With many residents relying on aid for survival, the ongoing violence and restrictions on movement intensify the crisis. The international community is growing increasingly concerned about the safety of civilians and aid workers in Gaza, urging for a peaceful resolution to ensure the safe delivery of humanitarian assistance.
