Intense Conflict: Iranian Rocket Attacks on Israel - Death Toll Rises

Multiple Iranian assaults on Israel result in fatalities, leaving six individuals deceased.

The ongoing tension between Iran and Israel shows no signs of abating, as both nations continue to trade missile strikes in a deadly back-and-forth.

Overnight, Israel sustained more casualties in the latest wave of Iranian attacks, with at least one extra fatality and numerous injuries reported by rescue services. Several cities, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, have experienced hit buildings. Authorities allowed some residents to leave protective spaces in central and northern Israel in the early hours of the morning. Search and rescue teams are on alert throughout the country following incoming projectile alerts.

In previous attacks, five people were killed in the town of Tamra in northern Israel, according to recent reports. The news agency Tasnim, associated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, and the Israeli military both confirmed a new round of Iranian rockets in the evening.

As the conflict intensifies, Israel's air force has persisted in its attacks on targets within Iran, with claimed strikes on infrastructure facilities of the Iranian nuclear weapons project, as well as oil depots in the capital, Tehran. This seems to have conclusively ended the "series of attacks."

Israel initiated strikes on targets within Iran on Friday morning, including nuclear facilities, high-ranking military personnel, nuclear scientists, defense positions, cities, and reportedly oil fields. Iran regards the air attacks as a declaration of war and had already fired hundreds of rockets and drones at Israel on Friday.

Former German Foreign Minister, Sigmar Gabriel, has expressed concerns over Iran's violation of international treaties. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has highlighted the country's unwavering support from the United States.
