By the evening's end, 44 people had received medical attention altogether.
A staggering 65 emergency responders and fire personnel were dispatched to the scene due to the numerous casualties, necessitating the attendance of about a dozen ambulances.

The HSV had earned their comeback to the Bundesliga via a dominating 6:1 victory against SSV Ulm on a Saturday night.
