- Multiple casualties reported following Russian missile attack on Kryvy Rih

On a fateful day, the usually bustling city of Kryvyi Rih, not far from the front line and the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, was drastically changed by a ruthless strike. This Russian missile attack resulted in a heart-wrenching death toll, with at least 16 lives lost - six of them innocent children. Over 50 people were left injured, the youngest being a mere three-month-old baby.

Such senseless tragedy left cars and garages ablaze, and apartment buildings riddled with destruction. The sorrow-stricken leader of Ukraine, President Zelenskyy, expressed his frustration, "There's only one reason why this continues: Russia doesn't want a ceasefire, and we see that."

Calling for a stronger stance, President Zelenskyy urged the world, especially America, Europe, and other powers to exert their influence and force Russia to halt their acts of terror and war.

This harsh reality was later acknowledged by the Russian military, which referred to the attack as a "precision strike." They claimed to have targeted a restaurant where Ukrainian commanders were reportedly meeting with Western trainers. The peculiar twist, as per their statement, resulted in the demolishing of 20 military vehicles and the tragic deaths of approximately 85 soldiers and foreign officers. Conspicuously, Russia made no mention of civilian casualties.

However, images from the strike site shared by Ukrainian sources show no evidence of military targets, raising questions about the truthfulness of these claims. The deadly conflict between Ukraine and Russia has been ongoing for over three years, with each side repeatedly accused of breaching a partial ceasefire by targeting civilian areas.
