Multi-Vehicle Crash in Thick Fog Leaves One Critically Injured on B16
A serious accident on the B16 near Apfeltrach has left a 33-year-old woman with severe injuries and two men with minor ones. The incident involved multiple vehicles and occurred in thick fog.
The chain reaction began when a 33-year-old woman driving a car lost control and veered into oncoming traffic. This resulted in a head-on collision with another vehicle, causing significant damage. The total estimated cost of the vehicle damage is around €60,000.
Following behind, a 20-year-old driver was unable to react in time and crashed into the wreckage, further exacerbating the situation. The police department that investigated the incident was the police department Memmingen.
All injured individuals were promptly taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. The exact cause of the initial loss of control is still under investigation by the Memmingen police department.
