Last Sunday night, a horrifying incident unfolded at the Union Gospel Mission homeless shelter in Salem, Oregon. According to the Salem Police Department, a man waltzed into the shelter's lobby at around 7.15pm local time, armed with a deadly eight-inch knife.
In the chilling aftermath, a dozen individuals found themselves victims of this violent attack, including two shelter staff members. The assailant, identified as Tony Williams, a 42-year-old man from Bend, was apprehended by the police across the street from the shelter.
